Your Account

Creating an account enhances your shopping experience by allowing you to track your order status, maintain a wish list, and manage your personal and payment details. You can register for an account before or during your purchase. To open an account before placing an order, select the My Account button in the top navigation area, click on Register, and follow the instructions to create an account. Otherwise, you will be taken through the registration process when you attempt to make your first purchase. Orders cannot be made by unregistered users.

Once you register, your secure account information is available to update or review at any time. Simply navigate to the appropriate My Account section.

Personal Information: contains your personal details
My Orders: provides the most up-to-date info on your orders
Wishlist: allows you to store and circulate a list of your most-wanted items
Address Book: keeps your contact information on hand to facilitate future orders

Your account is kept secure with a password chosen upon registration. If you forget your password, simply click on the forgot password link on the login/registration page.

Availability
All items on Gargyle.com are in stock unless noted otherwise. If an item is out of stock and waiting to be restocked, you may request to be notified by email when the merchandise is available again for sale.

Finding/Purchasing an Item
To purchase an item, navigate to the product page for that item by using our menus or the product search in the top right hand corner of the site. Once you’ve arrived at the product page, click on the Add to Shopping Bag button. From within your shopping bag, you can continue shopping, adjust the quantity, or begin the checkout process to complete your purchase by clicking the Checkout button.

Payment
Gargyle accepts VISA, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. We do not accept checks, cash, or money orders.

Sales Tax

Gargyle only charges sales tax on orders sent within New York State. We try to stay up-to-date with the many sales tax changes in New York and charge you accurate state and local taxes. If you have any questions about this, please let us know.

 

Tracking Your Order
You will receive an email confirmation once you place your order, and after your item is shipped. The latest status of your order, including any applicable tracking numbers, will always be available in the My Orders section of your My Account area.

Shipping

Gargyle offers UPS Ground, 2nd Day Air, and Next Day Air shipping for all domestic orders, and UPS Standard shipping for Canadian orders. For all other international orders, Gargyle ships via United States Postal Service (“USPS”) Express Mail International.

Gargyle only ships to select countries internationally. If you don’t see your country listed during the checkout process but would like to order from us, please contact us at cc@gargyle.com and we’ll try to accomodate your request.

Gargyle offers 2 Day Air and Next Day Air for shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico (no ground shipping). Gargyle does not ship to military APO/FPO addresses or P.O. Boxes.

For purchases totaling $150 or more, ground shipping to any of the 48 contiguous states is FREE!

All orders received before 1pm ET Monday-Friday will begin processing the same day, and orders received after 1pm ET will begin processing the following business day, pending credit verification. Orders received after 1pm on Friday will begin processing the following Monday. Most orders are shipped the next business day. Transit times do not include weekends or holidays, and weekend deliveries are not available. Once Gargyle has delivered the merchandise to the carrier, you will assume the risk of loss and title for the merchandise.

Taxes/Duties/Refused Shipments (for International Shipments):
You are responsible for any additional taxes and duties. Gargyle is not responsible for any fees charged by customs.

If you decide to refuse any shipments from Gargyle, you are responsible for the original shipping charges to you, any duties, taxes and/or customs charges that are incurred on the package (on both the original and return shipments), and the cost of returning the package to Gargyle. This amount will be subtracted from your merchandise refund.

 

Returns & Exchanges

Gargyle will gladly accept returns/exchanges on items in original condition within 14 days of order delivery date. This applies to regular price items and items up to 30% off (sale items and items purchased with a promotional code). Items purchased at a discount of 30% or greater are FINAL SALE. Refunds are calculated at the price paid (including taxes, but excluding any shipping costs). All items for return or exchange must be in unworn, unused, unwashed, and unaltered condition, with the original tags and packaging intact. All exchanges are subject to availability and can only be processed for the same item in a different size.

In order to initiate the return or exchange process, you must email Gargyle at returns@gargyle.com to request a Return Authorization Number (RAN). Gargyle must receive your return package within 14 days of your original order delivery date. Return packages received past this timeframe are accepted at Gargyle’s sole discretion and are eligible for store credit only. Be sure to note your Invoice Number and a description of the item(s) you wish to return or exchange in your email. If you would like to exchange an item, please also note the desired size so that we can set it aside for you. Once the RAN has been emailed back to you, print the email and include it within your return/exchange package.

Holiday 2009 Extended Returns

Orders placed from Dec 1st 2009- Dec 25th 2009 are eligible for Holiday 2009 Extended Returns. Items purchased at full price and at a discount of up to 30% off (sale items and items purchased with a promotional code) may be returned for full refund or exchange by January 8, 2009. Items purchased at a discount of 30% or greater are FINAL SALE.  Holiday Return packages delivered to Gargyle after January 8, 2009 are accepted at Gargyle's sole discretion and are eligible for store credit only.  Refunds are calculated at the price paid (including taxes, but excluding any shipping costs).  

Please note: Returns/exchanges that have not been issued a RAN will not be accepted under any circumstances. Return packages sent to us without a RAN will be sent back to you at your own cost.

You are responsible for all shipping costs related to your return. Gargyle highly recommends insuring your return/exchange package. You may also return or exchange your purchase at Gargyle’s showroom within 14 days of your purchase.

If you have received a damaged item or an item without tags or packaging, and wish to return or exchange it, you must email Gargyle within 3 days of your order delivery date to inform Gargyle of such item. Your return or exchange would then follow the RAN procedures as stated above. If you do not inform Gargyle of a damaged item or tagless/packageless item within three days, Gargyle cannot guarantee a refund or exchange.

After Gargyle’s inspection and acceptance of an item for return, a refund will be credited to the credit card used in the original purchase. After Gargyle’s inspection and acceptance of an item for exchange, an in-stock replacement item will be shipped to the address in the original purchase and any new shipping costs will be charged to the credit card used in the original purchase.

Gargyle expressly reserves the right to deny any returns or exchanges that do not comply with all of the foregoing conditions and to reject any returns or exchanges that do not pass Gargyle’s inspection. In the event that a return or exchange is not accepted, your package will be sent back to you, and you will be responsible for all related shipping costs. Gargyle does not accept responsibility for any lost packages unless there is proof of delivery to Gargyle, or for any shipping costs whatsoever in connection with your package.

 

Privacy Policy

Gargyle is committed to safeguarding your privacy online. Gargyle uses industry-standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) to encrypt the information you submit during your order, which ensures that your information is safely transmitted to us over the internet. In addition, Gargyle does not store credit card numbers.

The information provided during checkout is used to process your order or fulfill a requested service. Gargyle may use your information to contact you about promotions, events, or product information. If you do not want to receive such communications, simply log into your account and update your email subscription setting.

Rest assured that we will never rent or sell your information with a third party without your permission.
