Since its inception in 2001 at a humble weekend market stall, creative couple Susien Chong and Nic Briand have taken their label Lover and firmly established it as an influential brand with a unique approach to feminine fashion, The labels mixture of pop culture references, quirky detailing and intimate fabrication have garnered praise from Vogue to Vice Magazine. “We started the label based on what we loved and admired, in turn we’ve created our own world with a mix and match of our favorite heros, muses, films and songs. We’ve found Lover ladies all over the world who share a similar vision who have reinterpreted the garments in their way, and for us that’s perfect.”
