RAF SIMONS X FRED PERRY

For the Fred Perry x Raf Simons Autumn Winter '10 collaboration collection, the iconic designer investigates the many ways in which differing natural knitted fabrics can be styled together on garments, and the resulting tension between texture and weight. Key pieces include the signature Fred Perry x Raf Simons Shirt in charcoal marl, port and navy. The shirt has been re-worked in stripe and block combinations incorporating an interesting mix of colours; navy, smoke marl and dark carbon, and a 'patchwork' of fabrics including Merino wool, cashmere pique and jersey. Heavyweight patterned pure wool knitwear is made in the UK, and references classic British knitwear styles and texture.
