The Gargyle Store is Officially Open

With the passing of summer, the seasons aren’t the only things changing around here! After a brief but majorly productive hiatus, several late night brainstorming sessions, hours of mulling over blueprints, endless astro turf swatches, and a healthy amount of old fashioned hard work, our renovated store is finally done.

We cannot be any more excited about the grand opening of the new Gargyle store as we’re sure that you’ll be just as thrilled about our new looks as we are.

No, folks, we didn’t merely move a table around or add a few new chairs. We all but gutted our store and rebuilt it from the ground up- literally. Still channeling our country club inspiration, Gargyle’s reincarnation is equal parts outdoorsy, as well as luxurious minimalism.

We’ve put a lot of thought into everything from the new seamless shelving units to the brand spanking new front signage, to the cedar wood construction for a spectacularly scented shopping experience- we could go on and on.

On Friday to help kick off our new beginning, we held a little (and by little, we mean a few hundred) get together with our closest friends and Gargylites to celebrate our new store. Fantastic food and drink were kindly provided by our new neighbors, The Fat Radish, who also opened their space to our guests for further partying purposes, and we have to say that the night was a total success. See photos below (thanks, Guy!) for a few party snapshots, as well as preview images of our store.  We were so busy having fun we forgot to take photos ourselves (shame on us), so please send any you snapped at the party: cc@gargyle.com.

Thanks again to everyone who came out to support and celebrate the new Gargyle-  and to everyone who didn’t get a chance to check out the new store, come on by and see what all the chatter’s about!
