Cold Weather Sweaters from S.N.S. Herning
A few days ago, an unexpected and abrupt cold front came through NYC and granted, it only lasted for a day, it was a kind reminder that Fall is swiftly on its way.
That said, as the temperatures continue to drop and the leaves start to turn, we will be holding tight to our new winter worthy sweaters from S.N.S Herning.
This season, the Danish brand is back with its most beloved knit sweaters and cardigans in muted greys, browns, and royal blues made in luxe virgin wools and soft merinos. But perhaps the most outstanding asset of these styles are the return of S.N.S.’s “bubble” pattern, a knitting technique that has been time perfected for your wearing pleasure. Besides giving the sweaters amazing texture and a unique tactile pattern, the “bubble” technique actually derives from a more functional reasoning – it increases the insulation abilities of the garments. We call that science and clothing construction at its best.
So though S.N.S. might have started with the fisherman in mind, ships and sea aside, this collection is pure perfection street side.
Here’s a few of our favorite pieces that you can bet we’ll be wearing all season long:
Stark Cardigan, $333
Standard Cardigan (Shown in Olde Blue), $253
Rigid Sweater, $285
